About Me
Hello and thank you for visiting RiseOfChrist.com!
I feel it is important to give the visitors and subscribers some background information about myself. I’ve had many experiences as a Christian throughout my life. At this point in my journey I feel it is my obligation to share them and bring people together.
First off, my name is Kyle and I am a young family man living in the United States. I work a 9-5 job and live an average lifestyle. I was born and raised Catholic, and attended Catholic school for eight years. My first job was working in the rectory of my church as an assistant/secretary. I also participated in the peer ministry program during high school. Needless to say, I am quite familiar with the beliefs of Christianity and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
However, something happened along the way. I lost faith.This isn’t an uncommon story. In this day and age there are many ways to be lead astray. I can’t pinpoint why I drifted away from my faith. There was no particular reason or incident to blame. But this story has a happy ending. Over my years away from the faith I retained a burn for knowledge.
I explored and studied every religion possible. Not practicing those religions, but learning and studying. This includes all of the different branches of Christianity. This gave me a broad understanding of Christianity as a whole. I never thought that drifting from my faith would be a blessing in disguise.
The journey has left me with a new found love and respect for Jesus Christ!
